A Safety Evaluation is a high-level evaluation of your safety program, which will attempt to locate systemic and other weaknesses in your safety program. The Safety Evaluation is a FREE service provided by the safety council’s advisors and is designed to help you plan your safety program development but should not be used as a measure of audit readiness or compliance.

Once your safety management training is complete, apply the training to developing your safety program.

Based on the feedback from your Safety Advisor, take the final steps to prepare for your COR audit. (Resources, advice, and assistance are available from the safety council.)

A COR audit compares your company’s safety program to industry standards.


COR Decal You are Awarded your Certificate of Recognition

After a successful COR audit, your company is entitled to a COR certificate, the use of the distinctive safety council COR logo, and may be eligible for a rebate from WorkSafeBC.
