Who We Are

SafetyDriven – Trucking Safety Council of BC (TSCBC) is a not-for-profit health and safety association for general trucking and moving and storage companies. It is led by the industry and works to promote improving safety operations, reducing injuries and fatalities, and preventing loss and work stoppage. We do this important work by providing leadership, safety programs, services, communication, education, and certification.

We will never sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law.

Information We Collect

We use a secure, encrypted communication protocol to collect information. You are assured of this security when you see the “s” in https our address. We may collect the following personal information from you:

  • name and job title
  • contact information including email address
  • CU number and WorkSafeBC number
  • Payment Information such as credit-or debit-card information where purchases are made through the Website
  • E-Learning activities and information require to complete learning evaluation and issue certificates
  • Information related to customer surveys and/or offers

Please note: if you upload images to the SafetyDriven – TSCBC website, avoid images with embedded location data. This data (EXIF GPS) is encoded in JPEG, TIFF, and WAV files from mobile phones and cameras with built-in GPS.

How We Collect Information: Cookies

SafetyDriven – TSCBC requests your personal information for our  internal record keeping, to understand your needs, to improve our products and services, and to serve you better.     Users must register to use sections of the SafetyDriven – TSCBC website and provide certain information such as name and email address.   4. Surveys & Contests
    Occasionally we request personal information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate. Information requested may include contact information (name and shipping address) and demographic information (postal code, age level).
