Large Employer COR

Large Employers are companies with 20 or more employees.

Large Employers can earn COR for Health & Safety Management and Return To Work Management programs. The two certificates can be earned concurrently or separately, but the Return to Work COR cannot be completed as a stand alone without the Health and Safety certification.

Getting Started

  • Read the COR Terms and Conditions and contact our COR Manager to fill out an application to the program.
  • Refer to the TSCBC course calendar and register for upcoming courses.
  • Complete training and implement Health and Safety and Return to Work programs in the workplace.
  • Have an audit conducted by a TSCBC-trained and approved external auditor.
  • Address any deficiencies identified by the audit.
  • Fill out the Large Employer Certification Checklist.
  • Submit the audit results and other required documents to the TSCBC for quality assurance and approval.
  • TSCBC forwards COR certified company lists to WorkSafeBC where rebates are determined and awarded annually.
  • Large employers can use a TSCBC-trained internal auditor to conduct the maintenance audits occurring in the two consecutive years following a successful COR.
