H1N1 Information for Commercial Truck Drivers
Truck drivers have a relatively low risk of exposure to the H1N1 flu virus. Nevertheless, it is important that employers and employees in the trucking industry take appropriate precautions to reduce the chances of contracting H1N1. With input from the Industry and Labour Services health care team at WorkSafeBC, the TSCBC has prepared two bulletins, one for employers and one for employees, with advice on how to reduce the risks of contracting this virus. These bulletins can be printed and posted to help drivers and others to better understand how they can protect themselves, and others in the workplace.
