The Trucking Safety Council of BC has produced a business plan intended to provide the blueprint for improved truck safety in B.C. The business plan defines how the Safety Council will be governed, organized, staffed and funded. The plan discusses the programs and services the Council will provide for the industry, including the new Certificate of Recognition (COR) program approved by WorkSafeBC. The Trucking Safety Council’s primary client group are the employers and employees in the WorkSafeBC General Trucking and Moving and Storage Classification Units (CU’s). Employers in these groups are automatically members of the Safety Council.
